Reimagining Motor Insurance with Technology and Trust<\/span><\/h1>\n

Magellan is a new UK-based motor insurance group transforming how car insurance works. By using advanced technology, we make insurance fairer, safer, and more affordable, especially for responsible drivers in underserved communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our mission is to make insurance pricing behaviour-based rather than postcode-driven. We will launch in Manchester in 2026 and will expand across other major UK cities to become a national brand.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yvette, is a former Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of a motor insurance startup. While at that company, she spearheaded strategy, operations, fundraising, business development, and navigated the regulatory landscape for a Managing General Agent (MGA).<\/p>\n

With a background in investment banking, Yvette has worked in both corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. She was part of the Technology M&A team at Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs. She was also a Co-founder & Director of Calvert Percival Executive Search, a boutique financial services executive search firm. Her leadership, management expertise, and strategic vision will help to transform Magellan from an early stage, startup to a national UK motor insurance\u00a0brand.<\/p>\n

Stephen utilises data driven risk assessment models, enhancing premium pricing and risk selection accuracy. His career includes roles at Zurich Insurance, Highway Insurance, and Lloyd\u2019s syndicates, covering product management, data science, and demand modeling.
